CT International's Malaysia Factory Achieves
Important Certifications
CTI's manufacturing facility in Malaysia has the following ISO Certifications. We are the only factory to have achieved all four!!!
ISO14001 (since 2008)
Environmental management standards exist to help organizations minimize how their operations negatively affect the environment.
ISO17025 (since 2009)
General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories and issuing of third party Lab Reports.
ISO 13485 (since 2009)
Requirements for a comprehensive management system for the design and manufacture of medical devices.
ISO 9001 (since 2000)
Comprehensive Quality management systems for production, processing and marketing of product.
Specifically, our manufacturing facility ensures the following:
- All process rejected gloves are sent in to be reclaimed, wherein, it is made molded consumer articles, as opposed to having these gloves incinerated or landfills
- All used polybags are sent to poly recycle plant wherein, it is processed into recycle resins. ( The standard unacceptable practice is again to landfill or incinerate)
- All used or rejected cartons are sent back to the paper pulp recycle facility , wherein it is turned into newsprint. The usual practice is to do open burning of such material
- All fire and local authorities requirements are strictly enforced
- Waste Process water is controlled to a healthy level prior to discharge to waterways, so as not to affect the flora and fauna in the waterways.
- Noise levels are maintained within acceptable decibels, not only for employees but also for the community living in the vicinity of the Bonric’s Facility
- Gaseous discharges to the atmosphere are monitored and control to meet the statutory requirements so as not to contribute to the greenhouse effect or to pollute the air
- Moving parts lubricants, engine oil etc, are captured in specialized containers and send in to government approved "dangerous contaminants" disposal facility.
- A continuous improvement plan has to be carried out throughout the year such that the manufacturing facility does its part to contribute to the improvement and well being of the planet we live in.
